RECOMENDATIONS

Each piece of jewelry is carefully crafted by hand in my studio. I use only high-quality materials that will last if handled and maintained with reasonable care.

I recommend putting your jewelry on in the morning after showering and applying any moisturizers or fragrances, and removing your jewelry in the evening before going to bed. Avoid exposing your jewelry to wet or moist conditions.

When you aren’t wearing your jewelry, store it separately from other jewelry to avoid tangling and to limit abrasion with other materials.

This allows us to provide the most appropriate care recommendations based on the materials and construction of your piece. 

Polymer Earrings
Materials: Polymer Clay, 14k gold-filled/sterling silver findings

I recommend you store your jewelry in a cool and dry place to prevent scratches or breakage. Avoid contact with makeup, hair products and perfume as it may stain the clay. Avoid contact with alcohol as it may dissolve the polymer clay. To clean your jewelry, lightly wipe it with a lint-free jewelry cloth

Bracelets
Materials: 14k gold-filled/sterling silver accent beads, Japanese Glass Seed Beads, and Gold/Silver Cord.

Metal cord is a fiber that is durable though not indestructible. Due to the everyday activities we subject our hands to, bracelets will see much more wear compared to necklaces. To help maintaining your pieces longevity, take your jewelry off when you shower, swim and handle chores around your home.

Store your bracelets with care. These seed beads are made of glass and are particularly delicate; placing any heavy objects on top of your jewelry may crush these small beads. When you store your piece, we recommend leaving the clasp unhooked and letting the piece take its natural shape that it falls into. Avoid contorting the piece.

+REPAIRS
Should your well-loved piece of jewelry become damaged, I offer repair services on all Bell's Designs jewelry for a nominal fee. Please contact me to make arrangements
